Hello! Welcome to my first post of my blog! I am so excited to delivery informations, tips, and also to talk with all my readers.
My name is Angel Peil, I am a mother of three so I want to share more about my parenting, to encourage, give unsolicited-but-might-be-helpful tips 😂, and also share my experience as a working mom of twins+1. This is and ode to moms, moms to be, and any women that love, and want to have your own munchkins one day...or not💖
My first post I want talk about tactics that can help you at home with your little picky eater! Here we go!
1. Only hungry kids eat: I know preschools give kids morning snacks and afternoon snacks but I really don’t believe in those. They usually have a full and nutritious breakfast beginning with a cup of warm water, especially great for mornings to stay hydrated, protein from organic yogurt, grains such as cereal, whole grain bread, and finished with fresh fruits.
2. Focus on flavor: Have you notice that kids meals at the restaurants only consist of fried foods or cheese items ( grilled cheese sandwich, Mac and cheese, cheese sticks to name a few..). Do you think this is what the kids at France eat? Or Japan? As a global citizens we try to cultivate our own palette, but how about we start young, as toddlers, I would purée beets, celery, and sweet potatoes alike, just so the kids can try everything. Even though only my daughter still like beets, at least I know I have exposed them to what is possible to eat, if they decide to eat it.
3. Eat with them: Enjoy food with your kids, food is tastier when shared with family and friends, don’t forget to talk, laugh, and sing with your mouth open sometimes. 😂
